Rachel is passionate in the education industry since 1990s. She was a Co-founder of a tuition centre cum Vice-principal, Head of Department for academic team and non-academic such as recruitment and student services. She used to manage local and international students from Primary to Higher Education and adult learners. Her past organisations she worked and collaborated with include the Ministry of Education, People's Association, SkillsFuture Singapore, Singapore Tourism Board and Institutions such as Singapore Institute of Management Global Education, James Cook University, East Asia Institute of Management (EAIM), Tourism Management Institute of Singapore (TMIS), Training Centres, Language school and Tuition centre. She represented EAIM as the key personnel for Cambodia scholarship scheme with the Ministry of Education in Cambodia. She was a management council member of TMIS. In 2018, she received an award for being an Outstanding Employee of TMIS. Rachel has travelled regionally to China, Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand for business development trips. She enjoys meeting up with her ex-students who are now working in their professional field in Singapore and as far as Cambodia.
