Ms Nur Sheila

Ms. Sheila received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of South Australia. She has a strong background in Early Childhood and Lower Primary education. Ms. Sheila has worked and taught in international schools for over 19 years - most recently in South China before relocating to Singapore where she calls home.

Prior to joining Invictus, Ms. Sheila also had the opportunity to lead the Early Years department as Curriculum Coordinator at a school in Jakarta, Indonesia. Through her teaching experience, Ms. Sheila became deeply passionate about teaching students to be inquirers - to wonder deeply, question, make discoveries, and learn by doing. Her approach to teaching is to motivate students to achieve their best and expand beyond their own limits. She also believes that collaboration is the true essence and strength in a classroom of learners.

Ms. Sheila has a penchant for languages and aims to be a polyglot. Besides English, Ms. Sheila speaks Bahasa and is also a novice Mandarin, Arabic and Tagalog speaker.  Outside of school, Ms. Sheila enjoys discovering new spaces around the city and spending time with her little baby boy.
