Ms Kiranjit Kaur is a lifelong career educator and has taught in three very cosmopolitan cities - Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai. Her exposure to a plethora of educational systems - International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and Singaporean educational systems - has been most enriching. In her 15 years at the Shanghai Singapore International School, Ms Kaur was not only the English Head of Department but also the Editor-in-Chief for the campuses' publications. She has been actively involved in such charities as Roots & Shoots for environmental awareness, Second Chance Animal Aid (SCAA) and Jaiya's Animal Rescue (JAR) in support of animal rights and numerous fund-raising charities for tsunami-hit countries. Kiranjit is currently working towards her Masters in Education with an endorsement in the English Language Arts and Special Educational Needs. She continues to strive to keep abreast with global educational systems while maintaining the unique Singaporean rigour.
