Mr Abdul Mannan served as Principal of Ang Mo Kio Secondary School and was subsequently appointed Cluster Superintendent, where he managed 13 schools that included primary schools, secondary schools and a Junior College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (1st Class Honours) and has a Master’s in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Science Teachers Association of Singapore and Vice-President of the Singapore Association for the Advancement of Science. He has also served as Board Member of Academy of Principals, Singapore and as Council Member for Singapore National Academy of Science.
