Miss Claudia Joachim

After completing her degree in Psychology with Sociology (Hons), Claudia gained valuable experience working in various private preschools in Singapore, where she had the opportunity to work closely with families and children with additional needs. Claudia’s passion for education led me to pursue a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Melbourne. Upon returning to Singapore, she taught at two international schools before joining Invictus. At Invictus Bukit Timah, she played a key role in introducing Sounds Write, a UK-based phonics programme, to the school.

She was appointed Assistant Principal of Pastoral at Invictus, where she continues to focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our students. In this role, she has led initiatives aimed at meeting the emotional and social needs of students, ensuring that their well-being is prioritised alongside their academic development. Claudia believes that pastoral care is essential in nurturing resilient, well-rounded students, and she is passionate about fostering a school culture where every student feels valued and supported.
