Invictus Kindergarten and Invictus School in Hong Kong Official Opening Ceremony

Hong Kong, November 20, 2020 – Invictus Kindergarten and Invictus School in HK celebrated its official opening on Thursday, 19 November 2020. The event, which was held online via zoom due to COVID-19 restrictions, was attended by over 150 guests and parents. Ms Foo Teow Lee, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore to Hong Kong, graced the event as the Guest of Honour and officiated the grand opening.
Receiving its provisional license in less than a year, in February 2020, Invictus Kindergarten and Invictus School in Hong Kong quickly grew its enrolment to over 160 students and is well on the way to reach the approved capacity of 401 students.

Invictus has also recently completed the renovation works and fitting out of the new Invictus Secondary School in the Chai Wan district. Dr Koh Thiam Seng, Executive Vice President of Sing Ed Global Schoolhouse added:
“In addition to K1 to Year 6, we will open our Invictus Secondary School in the Chai Wan district once we receive the provisional approval from EDB. From Years 7 to 13, our students will benefit from the Cambridge Curriculum leading to IGCSE and Cambridge International A-Level examinations. We are delighted to be able to establish Invictus in Hong Kong, where we will aim to nurture students who will engage in joyous lifelong learning and strive towards excellence while contributing positively for a better tomorrow.”

Invictus Kindergarten and Invictus School in Hong Kong have their roots in Invictus International School in Singapore. Founded in 2015, Invictus International School in Singapore was acquired by Chip Eng Seng Corporation Ltd (CES) through its subsidiaries in 2019. Sing-Ed Global Schoolhouse Pte Ltd (Sing-Ed), the education arm of SGX mainboard listed Chip Eng Seng Corporation then took over the ownership and operation of Invictus. Headquartered in Singapore, Sing-Ed invests in education services and products that leverage on technology both in Singapore as well as internationally. It also invests in educational institutions from preschool to post-secondary.
Under the ownership and operation of Sing-Ed, Invictus has grown in the past year and a half to become a regional network of K-12 schools in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Cambodia, with plans to expand to Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Australia.
